Android Developer

PARiM, the best workforce software for temporary staff, are on the hunt for an experienced Android Developer who can write beautiful Kotlin code (and sometimes Java) to join our innovative and dynamic Engineering team.

The successful Android Developer knows how Realm works and its pitfalls, prefer modular code to huge monoliths. Our clients have Android tech in all shapes and sizes, so our goal is to create layouts which look great regardless of the device.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the development and evolution of PARiM Software Android app
  • Writing clean and maintainable code (document your work)
  • Ensuring the quality of work through automated tests and when necessary fixing bugs and refactoring the code base
  • Liaising and collaborating with the wider Engineering, Production, as well as Design team to ensure our software is developing and delivering client-focused solutions
  • Reporting progress and providing estimations
  • Evaluating different technologies we can access and keeping yourself up to date to within the Android technology landscape

We hope you...

  • Have at least 3 years of experience with developing software solutions for Android
  • Have passion for learning, adapting to change and courage to try new ideas
  • Are not afraid to voice your opinions and suggest product improvements
  • Respect others & their opinions, and are open to challenges
